----> COPIED FROM BEDLAM'S WEBSITE - WRITTEN BY TAIYA. <----

To start gaining reputation you need to pick up the starting quest for the Order of the Cloud Serpent at the Shrine of Two Moons (Horde Capital in Pandaria, Vale of Eternal Blossoms) which will guide you towards the Arboretum in the Jade Forest.

From there follow the main quests up until the quest [It's a...] in which your baby Cloud Serpent Egg will hatch and the daily grind begins.

Up to this point you would have earned 9000 rep (9900rep guild perk) so you will be sitting on 900/12000 Honored Reputation at this point.

Each day there are 3 random daily quests (at least at honored rep) which all award 500 rep each (550 rep guild perk) and 4 secondary profession based dailies which are always the same everyday and only award 125 rep each which is 500 rep total for quite a bit of work (550 rep total again with guild perk) so you can obtain 2200 rep every day if you complete all 7 daily quests ending on 3100/12000 rep at the end of your first day of daily quests.

Once you hit revered status you unlock a new chain of quests to complete in which you get to ride your Cloud Serpent who has grown a bit since he hatched but is still not fully grown, these quests are sky race tutorials which end with a full on sky race against 5 NPCs on fully grown Cloud Serpents, seems unfair!

During the Sky Race you will note there are 2 Achievements obtainable [How to Strain Your Dragon] and [In a Trail Of Smoke] the first of which is to win the race but as I found the only way to truly win this first race, as all the npcs zoom off ahead, is to get the second achievement at the same time. If you always go out of your way to pass through the smoke rings you gain a buff for each one you pass through that increases your speed, the achievement is to complete the race with the maximum of 10 stacks of the buff and its highly likely you will win the race and snag both achievements at the same time.

This revered quest chain will snag you 2400 reputation (2640 reputation guild perk) putting you at a total of 4740/21000 if all you have completed thus far is every daily each day which at this point will have been 5 days work.

At revered 2 new daily quests are unlocked which again both award 500(550) rep which will put you at 5840/21000 rep after day 5. From here on if you complete every daily each day you will be awarded with 3300 rep a day, which will take you another 5 days to reach exalted status.

If you opt to stick to the daily quests it will take you approximately 10 days to reach exalted status and claim your own Cloud Serpent mount assuming you do all dailies every day.

The Great Egg Hunt

If waiting around doing dailies isnt what you want you can always hunt Onyx Eggs on Windward Isle which are repeatable turn ins much like the Netherwing Eggs are. Each egg you turn in rewards you with 500 (550) rep. So if you choose to farm eggs on day one (after dailies) you will need 17 eggs to hit revered leaving you at 4190/21000 revered after doing the new revered quest chain and revered dailies at which point if you want to keep farming eggs you will need a further 31 eggs to hit exalted status.

The image below shows what the Onyx Eggs look like.

Assuming you would like to farm exalted as quickly as possible you will need a total of 48 eggs to hand in.

Egg Locations on Windward Isle

Onyx eggs can only be found on the Windward Isle and not on any of the other surrounding islands.

Heres an aerial view of the Island to help you locate the areas in the following pictures.

This first images shows the locations of the eggs located on the south western part of the island ontop and around the smaller raised area.

Next is the larger raised area just above the previous. The eggs do spawn in the bushes and are quite hard to spot unless you know to look there, the one on the left side spawns behind the tree to make sure to look behind it.

On the other side of this you will find a lone tree on a much lower down ledge, the egg can spawn behind this.

Across from this area there is a dirt floor with bones scattered around, where one of the daily mobs can spawn, the egg can spawn next to the skull on the ground.

The raised area next to this also has eggs spawn on it.

On the northern most tallest raised area (using aerial view as a point of reference) you can find an egg behind a tree on a small ledge low down on the side closest to the bones on the floor.

Then further around to the back and on top there are more spawn locations in this area.

And then around the front two more.

Across from this are two raised areas in the water, eggs can spawn right on top of either of these

The eastern most raised area has minimal spawn points for eggs on it, one at the back and one on top.

If you fly down to the floor from here to the quest mob Slitherscale Lizard-Lord, you will find a sneakily hidden egg, which is spawned in the picture below to give you a good idea!

Then the last raised area, south east on my aerial view is the largest area with the most potential egg spawn locations. Most of them spawn in the middle of bushes so keep an eye out when searching.

Then the last egg spawn that I have found is another one on the ground, which makes 3 total that I have located on the ground with the rest being in raised areas that require flying to reach. This is located at the north at the base of the tallest raised area.

There could be alot of spawn locations of eggs which I havent found yet, if anyone else finds any now on the beta or when it goes live feel free to post the locations in this and ill add them to the guide.
